Behind the Brand
Front of the Pack was founded by British serial entrepreneurs Neil Hutchinson and Chris Wilkinson. Neil and Chris first entered the pet industry in 2017, when they acquired internet retailer Paws.com. As they witnessed the direct-to-consumer boom and noticed that people were starting to treat their pets like members of their family, Neil and Chris decided to create products of their own. They started looking into developing a pet supplement brand — one that was heavily backed by research and clinical studies. They assembled a team of vets, biochemists, and product formulators to bring their vision to life. 9 months of research and development later, Neil and Chris had established a top-in-class supply chain and pet supplement that they were ready to share with the world. They launched Front of the Pack just months before the COVID pandemic, and the demand was clear: just 2 months after launch, Front of the Pack closed a $3.5 million seed round. Today, through their meticulously-researched and science-backed product line, the Front of the Pack team is paving the way for improved pet health and raising the standards of quality control within the industry.
