Behind the Brand
Dally was founded by husband-and-wife team Kevin and Elizabeth Egan. Leading fast-paced lives in bustling New York City, Kevin and Elizabeth often took trips out of the city to relax and reset. After returning home from these trips, they would both find themselves daydreaming about the places that they visited and reliving the memories they had created. They began to think about how they could “bottle” these warm feelings and encourage slower, more intentional living. Given that most people use hand wash more times a day than any other household product, Kevin and Elizabeth decided to start their lifestyle brand with a line of botanical hand washes.
From the very beginning, Kevin and Elizabeth knew that they wanted to find a local manufacturing partner that could meet their standards for a clean-label, vegan, and synthetic-free product. They found their manufacturer through Google and visited the production facility to make sure they were aligned. With the vision of creating a design-driven brand, Kevin and Elizabeth partnered with design firm Pentagram to develop their free-flowing, whimsical look and launched Dally in late 2020. Dally’s premium hand washes — crafted slowly in small batches — encapsulate the notion of “dilly-dallying”, celebrating a slower-paced lifestyle and evoking unforgettable moments.
